The Christmas Eye Pie project was based on taking a favorite recipe of mine and designing a consistent layout around the dish. The recipe for homemade Christmas mince pies was used in this layout. Clairity and legibility were key considerations in this project, as was my desire to keep an open layout. The recipe is sprinkled with Cockney slang, as it originates from the UK. In Cockney slang, your "mince pies" are your eyes.
